CSH Area Civic Association's Purpose
To promote the welfare of the Cold Spring Harbor area and its vicinity;
To foster the development of the Cold Spring Harbor area for the use, enjoyment and benefit of the Laurel Hollow, Lloyd Harbor and Cold Spring Harbor communities;
To preserve the area's natural beauties and historic sites;
To protect our ground water and harbor from all forms of pollution;
To encourage citizen participation and involvement incommunity improvement programs, and in local and state government;
To hold, conduct and organize meetings, discussions and forums to consider community opinion on beautification and restoration issues;
To solicit, collect and otherwise raise money for civic purposes, and to preserve the character and beauty of the entire Cold Spring Harbor area for the benefit of future generations.
Qualifications for Membership
Any resident of Cold Spring Harbor, Laurel Hollow, or Lloyd Harbor who's legal residence lies within School District #2 may become a member of The Cold Spring Harbor Area Civic Association. Anyone else is welcome to become a friend. Contact us for more details.
